#155 #christchurchcathedral is one of a number of churches I’ve been to over the festive period. I went to All Saints, Loughborough Parish Church on Sunday; my sending church, St Andrew’s, Kegworth on #christmasday; St Philips, Chaddesden for #midnightmass and All Saints, High Wycombe the Sunday before. Whilst it has felt slightly nomadic, each place has something completely unique and lovely to offer. And each time has been an opportunity to meet with God. Have you met with Him recently? (at Christ Church, Oxford)

#154 #returninghome after Christmas can have its challenges…knitting with the cat is never easy, but especially not when she wants your attention!!! (at Ripon College Cuddesdon)

#153 In the midst of #christmaslimboweek what do we do? Relax? Eat more mince pies? Drink more sherry? Possibly all of these things. This time is a gift – what other time of year do we forget what day it is, have pyjama days, watch films, read books and just look after yourself…or is that just me? #enjoythebreak (at Chadd (;)

#152 #sprouts seem to be a symbol of the British #christmasdinner and yet I wonder whether there is more to it than the tradition. Sprouts can almost complete some people’s Christmas dinner, and yet ruin it for others. We put so much effort into creating the perfect Christmas Day and in reality, it is one day which comes and goes. Rather than ending here though, Christmas is just beginning. The love, joy and hope that we all get excited about in the run up to Christmas becomes part of our new beginning which is symbolised in the birth of #babyjesus. A new baby brings love, joy and hope and all of these things grow with the baby. Spread the #lovejoyhope (at Chadd (;)

#151 #godwithus What a lovely gift! With the many gifts that God has given us, let this day be one of light, love, hope and good will. #merrychristmas (at St Andrew’s Church, Kegworth)

#150 A little late but #christmaseve at the family home…it’s been a long day, a long month and no more can be done to prepare for Christmas Day! The rest, as well as festivities, begin here! (at The Park Playgroup)

#149 The #posada came to visit this afternoon. We lit a candle and #prayed that we would remember the #journey Mary and Joseph made, and remember those who are travelling in difficult situations, and those who do not have a #home. We asked that we would #seegodinthepeoplewemeet and that we be a #blessingtothem. #powerfulprayer (at Ripon College Cuddesdon)

#148 What does your #bookshelf say about you? Have you read all of the books on it? What are your favourite books? What are the books you don’t like? Why have you kept them? What books would you like to have? If you were to write a book what would you write about? What is so special about books? What is the most special book to you and why? #thevelveteenrabbit #loveisthebest (at Ripon College Cuddesdon)

#147 While #shepherds watched their flocks by night, All seated on the ground, The #angel of the Lord came down, And #glory shone around.
“Fear not,” said he, for mighty dread Had seized their troubled minds; “Glad tidings of great joy I bring to you and all mankind.” (at All Saints Church)
